Before this class I can honestly say I had absolutely no experience in IT at all. But I am very excited to learn as my future career will be Cyber Security which is a part of IT so it does mean a lot to me. Starting to learn how to program something is very new and unique to me and was and is still very challenging. I felt very lost and like I have to be doing something wrong especially when I was not able to save anything. So learning all we needed to do is copy and paste URL, did make that easier and while I have tried multiple times to practice and hoping to perfect it, I did create a small story with Scratch and here is my link. https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1119224582/editor?tutorial=getStarted
I
will be trying to create more with scratch to help me better my skills in
programming as I believe there is always room for improvement. Some
difficulties I came across are timing each character to not overlap with each
other. Also, I had some struggles with one character and the leaning which is
still not perfect at this moment but someday I will get better at that. The
movements on it, I would like it to be better controlled, so I will most likely
have to create my own controls on that if that may help possibly. I did like
that I can change the language however I speak English and some Spanish I do
not know what the viewer does speak as well and do not really want people
confused. This would be a nice project for sending my in-laws a small story in
Spanish. They would like the effort, I am sure. My take from week one and this
project is regardless of how hard we struggle, the more we try the better we
become, so do not give up.
