11.1.6 Share a Folder with a Second Name

 

  1. Connect to the CorpFiles virtual server.
    1. From Hyper-V Manager, select CORPSERVER.
    2. Maximize the window to view all virtual machines.
    3. Double-click CorpFiles to connect to the virtual server.
  2. Add a share name of Home Folders for the D:\Users folder.
    1. On the taskbar, select File Explorer.
    2. From the left pane, expand and select This PC > Data (D:).
    3. From the right pane, right-click Users and select Properties.
    4. Select the Sharing tab.
    5. Select Advanced Sharing.
    6. Select Add.
    7. Enter Home Folders in the Share name field.
    8. Select OK to add the new share.
    9. Select OK to save the changes.
