8.6.6 Harden a Wireless Network

 EXPLANATION

Complete this lab as follows:

  1. Access the Ruckus zone controller.
    1. From the taskbar, select Google Chrome.
    2. In the URL field, enter 192.168.0.6 and press Enter.
    3. Maximize the window for better viewing.
  2. Log in to the wireless controller console.
    1. In the Admin field, enter admin (case sensitive).
    2. In the Password field, enter password as the password.
    3. Select Login.
  3. Change the admin username and password for the Zone Director controller.
    1. From the top, select the Administer tab.
    2. Make sure Authenticate using the admin name and password is selected.
    3. In the Admin Name field, enter WxAdmin.
    4. In the Current Password field, enter password.
    5. In the New Password field, enter ZDAdminsOnly!$.
    6. In the Confirm New Password field, enter ZDAdminsOnly!$.
    7. On the right, select Apply.
  4. Enable MAC address filtering.
    1. From the top, select the Configure tab.
    2. From the left menu, select Access Control.
      1. Expand L2-L7 Access Control.
      2. Under L2/MAC address Access Control, select Create New.
      3. In the Name field, enter Allowed Devices.
      4. Under Restriction, make sure Only allow all stations listed below is selected.
      5. Enter a MAC address.
      6. Select Create New.
      7. Repeat step 4g–4h for each MAC address you would like to add to the ACL.
      8. Select OK.
    3. Configure access controls.
      1. Under Access Control, expand Device Access Policy.
      2. Select Create New.
      3. In the Name field, enter NoGames.
      4. Select Create New.
      5. In the Description field, enter Games.
      6. Using the OS/Type drop-down list, select Gaming.
      7. In the Type field, select Deny.
      8. Under Uplink, make sure Disabled is sele
